1946 Simplicity #1588 vintage sewing pattern, misses' maternity shirtwaist dress, size 14.  Soft gathers at the waistline and front shoulder releases easy bodice fullness.  The dress buttons down the front and the skirt, cut in five sections may have pockets in the side seams.  The front pleats are adjustable and are fastened to position with snaps.  Style 1 has a high neckline and constrasting turn-back cuffs.  Style 2 has revers and extended shoulders slit at the upper edge.
